Founded in 2003, we offer expert and creative services with a strong reputation for on time delivery and cost effectiveness. You deal with the firm's owners here in Canberra.

Our Values

  1. We are passionate about developing best practice websites that meet Web Standards;
  2. Flexible in meeting clients' website needs;
  3. Cutting edge in the currency of our knowledge and skills - and always learning; and
  4. Enthusiastic and optimistic in our approach.

Our Philosophy

It's not your fault.

If you're having trouble figuring out how to use a website, it's not your fault - it means the website hasn't been built with its users in mind.

At Oxide Interactive, we work with you and your users to ensure the whole thing feels natural.

Our People

Alexi Paschalidis

Alexi has been creating websites for over eleven years - developing a passion for Standards-based development and advocating the importance of the end-user. He considers himself lucky to be spending his days swimming in the various streams of design.

In 2003, he graduated from the University of Canberra with a Multimedia degree and has also spent a few years managing the Royal Australian Navy's internet site.

When Alexi sees good design (with users in mind) it makes him feel warm and fuzzy. He's actively involved in the Web Standards community and has presented at the Canberra Web Standards Group twice over the last two years.

Peter Edmunds

Peter graduated from the University of Canberra in 2005 with first class honours and a University Medal in Communications. He is currently completing an MPhil program in New Media Arts part time at the Australian National University.

SwarmSketch, his honours project, received an honorary mention at Prix Ars Electronica 2006 and has been exhibited at several international conferences and galleries in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Hamburg, New York, Trento and Venice.

In 2007 he prepared and presented a semester long lecture series on web design for the University of Canberra's School of Graphic Design.
